KUNG HEI FAT CHOI! (Happy New Year!)
The parishioners from Mary Help of Christians Chinese
Parish, Edmonton, gave the Sisters an evening of New
Year's entertainment in late January. There was
the traditional lion dance; a graceful demonstration of
t'ai chi; and a soft, rippling piece of music, "Rain
Falling on the Mountain", played on the guzheng, the
Chinese zither.
SISTER GERTRUDE KWAN, SP
Sr. Gertrude Kwan, a faithful servant of the poor, died
on November 27, 2008.
