SISTER FLORIDA DUHAMEL
Sister Florida Duhamel (Sister Jeanne Eleanore)
celebrated her 100th birthday on February 25th.
Her family celebrated joined her for lunch at Providence
Centre, Edmonton the day before and the Sisters and
staff of Providence Centre joined her the following day
for tea and cake in the dining room. At her request
there were no speeches but the gifts of friendship and
presence to one another were evident. Sister Florida
can be seen at prayer for the needs of the world most
afternoons in the chapel at Providence Centre.
